Totally agree. Worst case sceneario are big enterprises negotiating contracts with SMEs which are awfully unbalanced to the SME´s disadvantage, abusing of the market power and sharing their contract templates with the instruction: take it or leave it. Such practice should even be illegal.

Couldn't agree more. A particularly frustrating experience when representing smaller businesses. I also find that many of these larger businesses tend to leverage procurement departments to handle most of the contracting processes. However, when I am able to speak to the actual lawyer, there is usually at least some amount of wiggle room. But it all comes down to time, resources and perseverance as they don't make it easy or help facilitate such conversations.
